Hoje, antecipadamente, porque amanhã é sexta e porque estou com vontade de fazer um post, trago-vos apenas uma música.

Não é um elogio à Raquel, que bem merecia, mas se alegria é o que traz esta música para vós, o elogio fica feito pois a Raquel adoça o nosso dia, mesmo sem doces - Parabéns my darling! 

Bem ... É uma música que me persegue ao longo dos tempos e sempre com uma magia que raramente é alcançada por outras músicas ... traz-me memórias, faz-me ansiar pelo verão, enfim, tem um efeito. É esse efeito que procuramos nas músicas,que sugerimos ... pode ser que sintam o mesmo que eu.

E não procurem esse efeito pela letra, não é esse o caso aqui, é uma combinação da altura em que a ouvi pela primeira vez, a sonoridade, marcou uma era para mim.

Vamos lá, Finally, foi lançada em 1991 por CeCe Peniston:

Em 1994 foi incluída no divertidissimo e controverso filme: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert e por isso, tornou-se num hino gay:

A partir daqui a música tem milhares de remixes, remakes, re-edits, enfim ... algumas simplesmente horripilantes, mas mesmo assim, a música não perdeu a sua magia.

Em 2013 Nerina Pallot lança talvez a sua versão mais calma, não é má, é uma visão mais melancólica e que tem mais a ver com a letra:

Em 2014 trazida pela controversa, chocante e extremamente realista série da HBO, Looking, a versão dos Cherry Ghost de 2010 volta à baila. 
Anteriormente passou completamente despercebida, não sei bem porquê, porque é claramente a minha preferida:
