Este podia ser um post sobre inúmeras bandas, artistas ou músicas. Mas que tipo de pessoa seria eu se, no meu primeiríssimo post, não vos trouxesse a Melhor Banda do Mundo? Formados em 1965 e por quase mero acaso, bastaram cerca de 6 anos de história para se tornarem uma referência e um marco na história da música. Meus amigos, a genialidade é assim mesmo :D
É com entusiasmo que vos apresento...
Imagino que todos vocês conheçam Jim Morrison, a voz dos Doors. Acho que a melhor definição sobre ele será qualquer coisa do género: Um louco, apaixonado pelo álcool, drogas e mulheres. Foi infelizmente o seu deslumbramento precipitado que levou, na maioria dos casos, a desentendimentos na banda e, posteriormente, à sua morte.
Normalmente tenho uma teoria: O primeiro álbum de uma boa banda é, por norma, o melhor álbum do seu reportório. Estes senhores conseguem, facilmente, mostrar que a minha teoria não vale nada! Considerado por muitos o registo mais histórico da banda, aqui fica o meu álbum de eleição: L.A. Woman.

ReplyDeleteSeja bem vinda. E reconheço que foi um excelente primeiro post. Correste alguns riscos com a tua afirmação que irias falar "da melhor banda do mundo" mas acho que tendo em contas as possibilidades que imaginei, não te saíste mal.
ReplyDeleteOs Doors passaram-me ao lado. Reconheço as músicas iconográficas deles que incluíste no post, mas nada mais do que isso. Mas reconheço o impacto deles na história da música contemporânea, pelo que merecem claramente estar nesta nossa "Wall of Fame" que criamos com este blog (e o mesmo não posso dizer que alguns já referenciados ...
Mas, não são de facto a melhor banda do mundo. São certamente a tua banda favorita de todos os tempos (acho), mas nunca poderia existir consenso nessa afirmação. Ainda estive a pesquisar sobre listas das melhores bandas, e não tive nenhuma que suportasse a tua afirmação. Temos pena :-)
